Ugh…It has been a long week. Sometimes the daily grind just gets tiring, you know? Every now and then I get to this point where I just don’t care. And I could totally just sit around watching Golden Girls reruns all day. It is not a good place to be in really…but that’s been me this week. Stupid responsibilities always getting in the way.
So I have undertaken this afterschool art program at a local elementary school. It is an hour long class twice a week. I just started this week but I am really enjoying it so far. It is really good experience for me, plus I’m getting paid about $7 a lesson, so it’s a little bit of a double whammy. Of course…I don’t really know when I get this said money. Hmmm…
I got to have dinner with my dad tonight. It was nice. I had not seen him a long time, considering we live about 45 minutes apart. I think that it had been almost a month. We went to Outback and they had the best, and I mean dee-licious, potato soup there. I am not sure if that is an approved food for me, but I really didn’t care. It was ridiculously good. And I got to chat with my dad, so it has been a good night.
I am posting to avoid addressing my moutains of homework, but I suppose I should put a stop to my own procrastination. Even though it looks like Reno has arrived on the scene (the desk) and I may not get a lot of work done with that little rascal about. More soon.
