Today did not start out well.  At about 4 o’clock this morning, my little cat Beda started chattering.  She has one of the nicest meows, it sounds very curious and polite, but not before the crack of dawn.  She kept digging at the carpet and meowing, but I could not figure out what her deal was.  I could get her to come up on the bed and let me pet her, but after a bit she would jump down and start up again.  It was slightly annoying…I am hoping that she doesn’t do it again tomorrow morning.

The day got better,however, when I went outside and saw how blue the sky was.I know, that sounds kind of hokey, but it was really nice. The sky was mostly overcast, but where the clouds parted was very deep blue, and it made me happy for some reason. Now I am at work and have no window. I have heard that it has become very gray outside…I suppose I will find out when I venture outside in about 45 minutes.  It is always so weird to enter the building when it is light and warm outside and leave when it has grown stormy.  Kind of like coming out of a movie theatre in the middle of the day.
Well…I have started rambling, so I will sign off for now and hope to be more coherent tomorrow.
